2019 AGM and Conference

The South Australian Apiarists’ Association invites you to attend our annual conference to be held at

Pullman Adelaide, 16 Hindmarsh Square
Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th June 2019

It is promising to be a fantastic conference with several speakers from Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) PhD students, Jody Gerdts of Bee Scientifics, presentations from Australian Honey Bee Industry Council, Agrifutures, Primary Industries and Regions South Australia, a panel session with experienced bee keepers, and much more.

Conference: Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included in the cost along with tea, coffee and juices. We are looking forward to delegates catching up and mingling over the scheduled breaks.

Accommodation: We have negotiated discounted room rates for our delegates wishing to stay at the Pullman Adelaide. Please note the following instructions to secure your room. Discounted room rate is valid until 9th May 2019. Full buffet breakfast for delegates using the booking link discounted to $20 per person.

Car Parking:

Discounted parking is available at Rundle Street UPark (height restriction 1.98m) at a rate of $28 per 24-hour period by pre booking online.

Discounted parking is available at UPark Rundle Street (height restriction 1.98m) at a rate of $25 per 24-hour period. To take advantage of this flat rate delegates will need to confirm a minimum of 21 days prior to arrival at the Pullman Adelaide that they will require parking using this option, this will be a non-refundable charge that will be added to their accommodation account. Delegates will enter the car park and take a ticket from the machine on entry. At the conclusion of the conference, delegates will need to use one of the tickets purchased from Pullman Adelaide to exit the carpark (rather than the one that was taken on entry). Parking is also available at Wilson carpark situated at the Target Centrepoint building with a height restriction 2.1m.

Dinner: Our annual dinner will be held Monday night at the Pullman. All delegates and speakers are welcome to attend.

Monday the 10th being a public holiday provides a fantastic opportunity for urban beekeepers to come along and connect.

All conference registrations must be finalised by Friday 31st May 2019

Please note that no registrations can be accepted on the day of conference due to restrictions by the Pullman Adelaide.
