The South Australian Apiarists’ Association (SAAA) Inc. was formed in 1945. We are an Association of members from both the commercial and recreational beekeeping sectors. Our members represent many facets of the industry including honey and honey products’ production, pollination, queen breeding, propolis and pollen collection.
The SAAA invites all SA beekeepers to become further involved in their industry by joining our Association. We encourage membership applications from anyone who is interested in expanding and/or sharing their knowledge, or just getting together with like-minded people to discuss issues. We currently have members with only one hive, up to large apiaries with over 2000 hives.
If you are interested in becoming a member go to the Membership section of this website. You can join online or complete a Membership Application Form. If you have any issues or questions, please contact our Secretary by emailing secretary@saaa.org.au or phoning 0419 982 102.
Please note that the South Australian Apiarists’ Association does not sell honey or other honey products.
If you have bee swarms on your property that need to be removed, please go to the Swarm Removal section of this website.
