The South Australian Apiarists’ Association primarily uses an online Membership Application and Renewal system.

Prospective members can apply for membership by using an online form and paying for their membership via Stripe or Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard). 

Existing SAAA Members can also renew their membership using this online system. Reminder emails will be sent to these members when their membership is due to expire.

Prospective and existing SAAA Members who do not wish to use the online system can complete a paper-based and pay via Electronic Funds Transfer or cheque.

Access to the Members Only areas of the website will be automatically granted once the online application/renewal and payment process is completed. As a non-member access to these areas is not permitted, but once your Member Login is granted, a number of additional menu items will become visible and accessible e.g. Emergency Breakdown List and The Buzz Online.

The Association’s membership year runs from 1 May through to 30 April the following year. Members who join after May 31 will be charged on a pro-rated basis which will be automatically calculated when completing the membership application process.

There are currently 11 different Membership Plans available which each have their own package of benefits. These are listed below. Please note that all plans include GST and that there are there are no surcharges for using Credit Cards (VISA, Mastercard) or Stripe to make a payment.

To join the SAAA as a new member, please select the Membership Plan that reflects the number of hives you manage and click the Join SAAA button.

If you are already an SAAA member looking to renew your membership, please go to your Account and under the My Membership heading click on the Renew button if you wish to continue with your current Membership Plan, or change if needed. Please note that you need to renew your membership by 31 May, 2024 (at the very latest) to maintain your membership status.
